SDSU Rowing is hosting an early screening of the upcoming movie, The Boys In The Boat! Directed by George Clooney and set to release on December 25th, we have 98 seats to share to bring this incredible story to you before it’s released to the rest of the world.

When: Tuesday, December 12, 2023

Time: 7:30pm, Check in will begin at 7:00pm at our table at the theater entrance

Cost: Tickets are $25/each and should be paid via Venmo, in-advance, to @aztec_alumni – if you prefer not to pay via venmo, please email cdoan@sdsu.edu for alternative options.

IMPORTANT: Tickets must be purchased by November 28th to secure our theater(s) with AMC so please get your orders in EARLY!

Check-in:

Check-in begins at 7:00pm and will go until the screening begins at 7:30pm. We will have SDSU Rowers posted where tickets are generally collected and will be confirming everyone coming into the theater against our RSVP/Ticket Holder list. Once confirmed, you will be allowed into the theater where seats are first come, first served. 

Please make sure you RSVP and are paid up in advance!

H-Del Beekley Foundation Annual Golf Tourney gives rowers and coxswains the opportunity to network with alumni while competing on a 18 hole course.

Come help the team clean and prepare their equipment for next year! Those student-athletes who are still in town along with the coaches will be out at the H Del Beekley Boathouse from 8:00am-12:00pm on the following dates, and would love to have you come out and lend a hand. After all, more hands means less work and there’s a lot of work that can be done while we look to update our fleet and make adjustments inside the boathouse!

Any help would be appreciated and coffee will be provided 🙂

Rekindle the spirit of camaraderie and relive the thrill of the water at the Fall Alumni Row! This special event is an annual tradition dedicated to celebrating the enduring legacy and achievements of our SDSU rowing alumni. Whether you graduated last year or a decade ago, this is a unique chance to jump back into a boat, reminisce about the memorable strokes, and share stories of past regattas. Feel the familiar rhythm of the oars, the splash of the water, and the call of the coxswain as you join fellow alumni for a nostalgic row down memory lane. Beyond the water, it’s a day of reconnection, sharing old tales, forging new memories, and being a part of the continued success and unity of the SDSU rowing family. We look forward to seeing you there, sharing the passion that binds us together as Aztec rowers. Row on!
